EXTERNAL CASING ATTACHMENTS

Collar for collar cementing MMC1

Collar for Collar Cementing is applied for two-stage or collar cementing of casing strings
or liners with diameter 102, 114, 127, 140, 146, 168, 178 and 245 mm.
While using a collar like MMC1 the following process operations are performed:
• performance of the first stage of casing cementing with start of the first cementing
plug after pumping in of cement slurry;
• displacing the cement slurry to the outer casing annular space until receiving the
“bump” signal;
• internal overpressure build-up and opening of cementing ports in a collar;
• flushing of extra cement slurry of the first stage;
• performance of the second stage of casing cementing with start of the second
cementing plug after pumping in cement slurry;
• displacing of the second stage cement slurry to the outer casing annular space until
receiving the “bump” signal;
